The Pen & Quill

The Pen & Quill is a site for national and international poets and writers of all ages and experience levels, novice to expert to post their works. Set up and run by The Pen & Quill poetry forum, "Poetry Home Of Excellence," we are a group of poets who operate in a family oriented and friendly atmosphere. At our site, we give out awards daily, weekly, monthly, and annually. We hold daily, weekly and monthly contests. You can receive general comments on your work and critiques from mild through to final write suggestions, join our live poetry chatroom, get music and images for your posts, become a "Poetry Hall Of Fame Member", "Featured Poet", "Poet Of The Month" and more. We have over 170 active members and more than 50,000 hits in less than four months of existence.

We never compare anyone's works to the greats like Poe, Frost or Nash. Each write is a unique expression of the writer and is appreciated in and of itself. So what you think is not so good may actually be good to experienced authors.
